All About Saratoga Doula Birth Support
As an experienced Birth Doula working in the Capital Region, I offer personalized birthing support. My goal is to give you and your family the attention and knowledge you need to make informed decisions about your pregnancy, labor and birth.

The decision to have doula support is a profound one. Studies have shown that having a doula can result in shorter labors, reduced need for interventions, and a more positive overall birth experience. More than the statistics, though, is the personal experience of feeling supported, empowered, and cared for during one of life's most transformative moments.

To provide a brief overview of the services I offer:

Prenatal Visits: These sessions are designed to help prepare both the mind and body for birth. We discuss your birth plan, address any fears or concerns, and cultivate techniques for relaxation and coping with labor. My aim is to empower and reassure you as you approach your birthing experience.

Support During Labor and Birth: I will be there to provide continuous emotional, informational, and physical support. This could range from massage techniques, breathwork guidance, and reassurance to help in facilitating communication with your healthcare providers, ensuring that you feel heard and supported.

Postpartum Visits: After the birth, I remain dedicated to your wellbeing. These visits focus on providing support for breastfeeding (if you choose to do so), addressing any concerns you might have, and helping you transition smoothly into this new chapter with your baby.

As for the financial aspect of my services, it is one fee for all the services listed above and I operate on a sliding scale of $1750-$2200. The choice of what you pay within this scale is entirely up to you. There's no need to submit any proof of income; I operate on the honor system. I believe in making doula support accessible and trust that you'll select a figure that aligns with what you're comfortable with.
